Now you see it..no you don’t!
I admit I have a problem, which I’m told is the first step. Lucky for you, if they had a twelve-step program for suckers, I wouldn’t have a BLOG & you’d miss out on all of this important, life-changing information! One would think though, that after being scammed out of thousands of dollars, I wouldn’t fall for all of these gimmicks & wouldn’t HAVE to try them ALL! My spouse would absolutely love that & all the money we could save for our retirement, but enough about him.
Recently I began seeing TV advertisements for a product I assumed had been pulled from the shelves due to bankruptcy, fraud, or possible testing on sloths, which in all honesty could make a world of difference for this species, if in fact this beauty product actually works. That will be determined at a later date & the findings reported after several more tries, since I did not follow the directions & most likely moved before the three minutes was up or used face cream which ALL dermatologists & beauty advisors strongly recommends.
Anyway, I was eager to try it because I had fallen for it’s claims previously & had purchased a very small box that had what I would call a sample size, enough for a couple applications, which I saved for that special occasion which didn’t happen before it dried up. So what’s worse than falling for gimmicks? Falling for it twice! I went right out & bought it, excited to see how it will change my life! And to my surprise, appeared to possess a decent sized product.
Now you see it..so I ripped open the box, determined not to waste all of the promises of youth this time, but when I looked in the box, I immediately became irate, because..no you don’t! I was duped..AGAIN! Scammed & I felt incredibly stupid. Not that the bottle was ridiculously small, because let’s be real, beauty products are expensive because of their size & because you typically need to replenish them every month, but this microscopic bottle was .23 ounces to be exact & was actually smaller than the bottle appearing on the front of the box. The actual product didn’t even take up one quarter of the box, which to me is false advertising & a waste of paper! If you want it to stand out on the shelf, there are other options than to be purposely misleading with packaging, making people feel scammed. Especially because it’s not cheap. Maybe you can reduce the packaging & charge less. Just saying..
The shame is, because of your ridiculously oversized box, consumers question the integrity of your product because immediately they feel scammed! It doesn’t matter if the product actually works. No one will give it a chance. Either change the packaging to properly show the contents inside or change the name from, Sudden Change Under-Eye Firming Serum to Now you see it, no you don’t!
